Program Summary

Kathleen A. Cahalan, MA, Ph.D. is Professor of Theology at Saint John's School of Theology and Seminary and Director of Collegeville Institute Seminars. She is the author or co-author of several books: Opening the Field of Practical Theology: An Introduction, Introducing the Practice of Ministry, Formed in the Image of Christ: The Sacramental-Moral Theology of Bernard Häring, C.Ss.R., and Projects That Matter: Successful Planning and Evaluation for Religious Organizations. In addition, she has written dozens of articles and conference papers, and presented many lectures, workshops and retreats. Dr. Calahan is a member of the American Academy of Religion, the Catholic Theological Society of America, the International Academy of Practical Theology, and the Association of Practical Theology, serving as President of the latter organization during 2006-2008.
