Program Summary
The event is designed to provide detail on the process of a virtual certification interview with NACC through a Zoom conference video call. This webinar highlights expectations of the interview and explains how the interview will proceed for the applicant.

About the Presenters

Louise Eggen - I am a pediatric chaplain at Mercy Hospital St. Louis and have been in this position for 10 years. I have been a NACC certified chaplain for 30 years and am active with certification committees. I have been a mentor for NACC chaplains as well as APC chaplains preparing for certification. I have worked with fellow NACC chaplains who apply for recertification. I was a member of the initial virtual certification committee and worked with other chaplains as we developed this. In my free time I love to read, crochet, cook and walk my dog, Poppy.

Michael Onuoha, MA, MTS, BCC is the Manager of Spiritual Care for CHRISTUS. St. Michael Health System. As the Manager of Spiritual Care, Michael is responsible for the integration of quality spiritual care services at CHRISTUS St. Michael in Texarkana Texas, CHRISTUS St. Michael in Atlanta Texas and CHRISTUS St. Michael Rehab. He is also an Ethics Consultant and provides Ethics Education for nurses.

Prior to joining CHRISTUS Health last August, Michael served as the Director of Spiritual Care at Mercy Health, Paducah where he was responsible for Spiritual Care and Ethics for KY region.

Michael is currently a PhD candidate in Counseling Psychology at Amridge University, and previous degrees in Philosophy, Theology, and Bioethics. He is a Board Certified Chaplain with NACC, served two terms in the NACC Nominations Panel and has been an interviewer since 2015.
